Automated CNC

Machine Tending

Tomorrow's Automation Today®

Robotic CNC Tending

Over the last 20 years, we have completed numerous automated CNC machine tending projects.

Some were as simple as the loading and unloading of a chuck with parts from a tray utilizing a pedestal-mounted robot. While other, more complex solutions, involved deploying CNC machine tending robotic systems on gantry rails to service multiple machines.

From CNCs to CMMs, Washing Systems, auto loaders, and or Laser Marking Systems, we can offer a wide range of CNC machine tending robots and equipment solutions to meet your specific needs

Our in-house software team has extensive experience in configuring robotic systems to communicate with CNC controllers and our customer's factory systems. This creates flexible automation systems that allow for high product mix, with automatic change over, maximizing utilization. Product quality and process improvement can be achieved through the seamless integration of downstream measurement processes and closed-loop tooling offsets.

Typical benefits of automating

machine tending:

1.

Increased machine utilization

(less time loading/unloading part)

2.

Decreased cycle times

3.

Greater repeatability and accuracy

4.

Improved ergonomics

5.

Improved safety

6.

Reduction of labor

7.

Improved tool life

Our in-house engineering team designs custom solutions for CNC machine tending robots. We create systems each unique application that address the customer’s needs in the areas of part presentation and take away, in machine work holding, and practical layouts for running and servicing each system.
