Vision Guided Robotics for Product Packaging

Here at PrimeTest Automation we take pride in being able to offer our customers the latest technologies available in Robotics and Automation. One of the fastest growing trends in robotics is the use of vision guided robots. Previously, applications involving the picking and placing of randomly located products required either manual labor or elaborate automation. Now these applications can be accomplished simply with robots equipped with camera systems. The following video is demonstrating a Fanuc M1 robot, equipped with iRVision, being used to stack randomly oriented candy bars for a downstream packaging process.
